Working in the forest has never been so comfortable and safe. Cimbra GTX has arrived , the new professional footwear specific for forestry work from AKU, with S3 level 3 certification .
The result of a research and development process conducted in over two years of work and field tests alongside the best professionals in the sector, Cimbra GTX today represents the new standard for PPE footwear in the synthesis between comfort and safety.
A fundamental principle of safe work indicates in fact the comfort of the equipment, the first and fundamental functional requirement to guarantee the professional operator the possibility of remaining concentrated on the delicate operations on site, eliminating the sources of disturbance and discomfort deriving from an uncomfortable product functionality. A requirement that applies particularly to footwear.
The handcrafted construction on the anatomical shape AKU ELICA NATURAL STRIDE SYSTEM on which the structure of CIMBRA GTX is based, reproduces the natural anatomy of the foot to promote balance, stability and less fatigue during prolonged use. The protective aluminum toe cap with large volume offers more space and reduces the risk of pressure at the frontal flexion point at the forefoot. The legendary VIBRAM FOURÀ sole with exclusive AKU dual-density wedge guarantees ideal grip on different surfaces and a superior level of cushioning on hard and uneven terrain. The high quality Perwanger suede upper, combined with a Gore-Tex membrane, finally provides waterproofness and an excellent level of breathability even in hot weather.
Cimbra GTX is certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 – HI – CI – WR – HRO – SRC and 0465 EN ISO 17249:2013+AC:2014 - LEVEL3.
