A living and wild land
The waterfalls in the hinterland fall from impressive heights, carving out deep canyons. Continuing on foot without going too far, the ground becomes unstable: cracks open in the ground and jets of boiling water suddenly erupt. Here the earth is alive, and every step reminds us of how fragile the balance on which we walk is.
On the coast, the landscape changes. The sea crashes onto dark sandy beaches, while rocky cliffs rise like natural walls. The wind whistles through the rocks, and looking out to sea it seems clear that you are at the extreme limits of the Earth. The atmosphere is wild and fascinating, capable of capturing you in the most remote part of your being.
