Let me introduce myself,
my name is Matteo Peroni, born in 1989, I am a computer engineer .
From Monday to Friday I work in a company writing code while on Saturday and Sunday I take refuge in the mountains .
My great love is the Dolomites but over time I realized that I love all the mountains because here, far from everyday life, you feel really good. I like via ferratas , day trekkings , multi-day treks, nights in refuges but what I prefer are nights in bivouacs. In these magical places you can breathe an air of unique peace and serenity, here time stops and you can get away for a few hours from the incessant routine that we follow at low altitude. Of course, it is not always easy to reach these structures, sometimes there are paths that really put you to the test but once you reach your destination the game is done and you enter a spiritual dimension without equal. I have not yet beaten my personal altitude record and I am not interested in beating it, my most exciting trek is the one I have yet to do and my plans for the future are to never change and to experience the mountains as I like , without rushing, in silence and with the people I love and who share my same passions.
