The design of these boots, initially developed for elite military units, featuring leather and high strength fabrics upper, prioritizes comfort, a great freedom of movement and protection against the elements, making them suitable for combat, patrol and bushcraft tasks and ideal for deployment in various harsh conditions and in continental and wet weather environments. They represent a remarkably lightweight piece of equipment for soldiers and private military contractors in spite of their robust construction: their comfortable EVA foam midsole with integrated arch support and stability make this boot the ideal for rucking and extra long marches with heavy loads. With their Gore-Tex breathable and waterproof lining and the Vibram new nitril rubber outsole, they well perform in adverse weather conditions, offering protection and comfort in wet and slippery engaging outdoor or urban environments, ensuring wearers stay dry and stable. They feature lacing hooks with a closed design, for a secure fastening avoiding entaglement.
